The Jillian Abbott SIDS Stomp

…because every baby deserves the chance to reach not only his or her first birthday, but many happy birthdays beyond!

In January of 2009, our precious five month-old daughter, Jillian, died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). It is a devastating loss, one with which our family continues to struggle. In an effort to honor Jillian and other babies who have died from SIDS, we have decided to take a proactive step towards ensuring that all infants in our community and beyond survive and thrive.

On August 11th, 2012 we are hosting The 3rd Annual Jillian Abbott SIDS Stomp at Presque Isle State Park to benefit the programs of First Candle. The walk will take place at Beach 1.
